The mission of this website is to put you back in control of how much you are spending on your vehicle.

The first stage of getting in control of something is to know what the problem is - where your money is going. Can you determine that your car is under-performing? Is your driving style costing you more than you feel you get out of driving? Perhaps you can deduce that a particular petrol station delivers fuel which costs you less over time? This last point is no myth, we have used the information that this site provides to pinpoint one petrol station from which we get as much as 10% better economy. Why is anybody's guess. But the savings are real.

There is a small and quick form on the front page of the site for UK users to quickly transform their petrol receipts into a useful MPG figure, but the magic of 'What is my MPG' comes into play if you register. Keep long term records, compare petrol stations, record the performance of more than one vehicle: then transform this into easily interpreted charts.
